For 20+ years, Stephen Monaco has been known and well-respected
for his strong acumen as a senior-level marketing and management
executive in the high tech sector. He is an excellent leader

America and Europe in the following sectors: utilities software,
electronic software distribution, paid Internet search, Web
analytics, e-commerce, security software, Internet content,
direct marketing, entertainment, mergers & acquisitions,
alternative energy, disaster recovery, etc. Clients have included:
Element 5 / Digital River, Symantec Corporation, Quarterdeck,
Microsoft, No Fear, BTS Mergers and Acquisitions, ServiceMaster

name a few.
During the period of 1986 to 1999, Monaco held the positions
of co-CEO and Vice President of Marketing, Chief Marketing
Officer; and Executive Consultant for Datastorm Technologies,
Inc. – a leading developer and publisher in the highly competitive
fields of data communications, remote and Internet software.
Monaco's creative marketing prowess is the driving force behind
the world's best-selling PC data communications software of
all time, the software mega-brand, ProComm Plus. Monaco defined
company strategies and successfully built Datastorm from raw
start-up, led the company through 40 consecutive profitable
quarters of growth to $50 million in annual revenue, and its
acquisition by a publicly-traded company. While at the helm
in at Datastorm, Monaco led a team of over 300 employees in
the United States and Europe. In addition, Monaco simultaneously
held the position of Managing Director at the company's affiliate,
Datastorm Technologies, Ltd. in Cambridge, England.
In his early career, Mr. Monaco held marketing positions at
Warner Bros. Television, International TV Distribution in
Burbank, California and Creative Communications Group in Dallas,
Texas.
Stephen Monaco is frequently interviewed by the press and
has appeared on television and radio programs, and in the
print news media a number of times. He previously contributed
editorial to Chicago's Midwest Business in his entrepreneurial
column entitled, "
Show Me What's Next" and currently
writes a column addressing executive-level marketing management
issues called, "
If You Mean Business..." for Marketing

Monaco has guest lectured to MBA marketing and entrepreneurship
classes at the University of Missouri and at the Keller School
of Management in Los Angeles. His successful pricing strategies
from Datastorm Technologies are utilized as examples in the
accompanying Instructor's Resource Manual to Philip Kotler's
graduate-level college text book, "Marketing Management-Eleventh
Edition."
As an undergraduate, Stephen attended the University of Missouri
and graduated on the Dean's List from the University of Wales
- Cardiff in the United Kingdom with a Masters in Business
Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and eBusiness.
Monaco is listed in the 2005-2006 Edition of National Register's
"Who's Who" in Executive Professionals; and in the 1999 Encyclopedia
Yearbook of Experts, Authorities and Spokespersons as a Marketing
Expert.
